I like the idea that something could exist–but doesn’t. I pay close attention to the way in which shadows fall and situate themselves in their surroundings. I replicate these occurrences through painting, capturing these instances and recreating them into uncanny and metaphysical landscapes. There are many motifs in my work, I will draw them over and over again until I have exhausted every angle and circumstance possible.
